New aviation program takes JCPS students from the classroom to the skies [WAVE]

It’s a first of its kind program within Jefferson County Public Schools that puts high school students in the sky. Juniors and seniors from the Academy at Shawnee are now spending their school days not on campus but in a hangar at Bowman Field learning about aviation.
