Blueprint Summit: Co-Ops

The Academies of Louisville Learning Exchanges have brought employers together to share ideas and strengthen partnerships with Jefferson County Public Schools. Now we’re building on that foundation.

The Blueprint Summit is the next step forward — a more focused, hands-on experience designed to help employers design the future workforce in Louisville.

Our first session explores one of the most powerful ways companies connect with students: co-ops and internships. Lunch will be provided for all attendees.

Who Should Attend?

This session is designed for:

  • Employers interested in hosting high school co-ops or internships

  • Companies looking to strengthen or expand existing programs

  • HR leaders, hiring managers, and workforce development staff

  • Organizations committed to building Louisville’s future workforce pipeline

Why Attend?

In just two hours, you will:

  • Learn how co-ops can help build your company’s future talent pipeline

  • Hear how Louisville employers are successfully running co-op programs

  • Gain practical guidance on how to start or strengthen a program

  • Leave with clear next steps you can implement immediately

Hear From Co-Op All-Stars

This session features business partners who are already leading the way in hosting student co-ops, including:

  • CEPEDA

  • Class Act Federal Credit Union

  • KCC Companies

  • Lantech

They’ll share what’s working, the challenges they’ve faced, and how co-ops create meaningful value for both students and employers.
